Microsoft Surface PC Prices Raised as Memory Costs Rise; Flagship Devices Hit the Hardest

Microsoft has reportedly increased the price of the Surface lineup in the US. The Surface Pro 12-inch is currently available for $1,049, instead of $799 (roughly Rs. 67,000). The 13-inch Surface Pro 13 is listed for $1,449, marking a price increase from last year's $1,199 (roughly Rs. 1,11,000). The recent increases in memory and component costs are the reason for the price hike.
